Oh sweet blog how I've missed thee. But alas, these are busy times. Things be brewing in this world.
Like me turning old(er) 20, eek. Not a milestone I'm particularly proud of, well the best things about birthdays are presents no? yes. With my monies and a gift voucher I bought a psp, which I killed and took back cause I wanted too install custom firmware <.<
So I have a black PSP, with 3 real games.
Loco Roco.
Medievil.
Burnout Legends.
I have Illegally download Vice City Stories and Puzzle Quest.
I haven't played much of these, except one. LOCO ROCO.
It's the most simple game on the planet. Even my Mum can play through some levels.
The gameplay is simple, use L1 to tilt the world too the left, use R1 to tilt the world to the right, push both too jump and circle will either split the loco's up or suck them back up into one, which I'll explain.
In the levels there are 20 berries, eating a berry will give you another loco roco, now of course if you get 20 and push circle the large loco roco will explode into 20 of them. Simple. You hold down circle too make them into one large loco roco.
Also in the level there are Pickories and Mui Mui, pickories are basically currency used too play mini games. Mui Mui are little creatures that are normally hidden, or in a hard too reach spot. In each level there will be 3-5 Mui Mui, when you find one they will reward you with a house part. So that leads me into the house.
In Loco Rocos house, there are small flying creatures. Your goal is too collect them for more house parts, think of the incredible machine, but more simple. When you collect house parts you add them to the area of the house, these might be simple circular objects or something special. Like a piece of ground that has air coming out of it that will force you upwards. So your goal is too setup a device to get the Loco Roco to touch the blue flying creature, and then you will be rewarded with a house part and it will move to another area.
There are three sizes of Loco Rocos house, small medium and large.
The other mini games are Mui Mui crane, which is a simple crane game where you can get various parts for you house, 1 turn costs 100 pickories.
There is also Chuppa Chuppa, which is kinda hard too explain. Basically its shoot yourself around this course too collect objects, you'll need too be careful because if you hit a spike or an enemy you'll lose. This also costs 100 pickories.
The other mini game I haven't unlocked yet, but its basically Loco Roco house. Except this time you control loco roco, and you can send your house too your friends.
There are enemies in loco roco, however they will rarely kill you. Instead they will try too eat a Loco Roco, so if one gets eaten you wont be able to 100% that will, and will need too try again. The enemies are simple, 2 spikey ones, one of them is stuck in the ground and the other moves around a little.
There are 2 black flying enemies, both can be taken out if you jump at them.
There are also owls that shoot out little black spikes, and an enemy that screams and it just pushes you back.
There is also 1 more enemy, who pops up out of the ground and will grab a loco roco.
So enemies are deadly, they'll just stop you from 100% the level, however you can go through any level as many times as you want.
I think thats about everything.

E3, goes great with mustard.
First off let me get this off my chest: http://www.claviul.com/forum
Yes it was an impulse purchase, but I'm glad its around. Done. Thank you.
E3 is this week... I'm not sure what Nintendo or Microsoft are doing, hell we don't know really what anyones doing. But I am looking foward to the Sony event, because there are alot of rumours out and I'd like a few to come true. So I'll probably post up my thoughts here and I'll be covering what news I can on Claviul.
Peace.

Bored
Well I'm bored. So I find myself here. This one might be a long one covering the topics of: San Andreas multi player update, pets, enemy territory, black and white 2 and trying to get more attention to here.
Alright, Black and White 2. I've tried to play through this before fully and normally stop about the third world. I love it. I have no idea why, this time I'm upto the third last world and I've used good influence the entire way through. Which has been pretty easy, basically good influence is building an impressive city and others will want to migrate to it. Evil is taking over towns by force, having an evil creature and doing the general naughty things.
Evil is safe to say the most fun, throwing fireballs and meteor miracles never get old. However seeing as I've stuck with good so far around 98% good alignment. The world I'm on now has 2 main towns the Chinese and the Japanese. Which both have a HUGE influence, I don't think I can take them over by being good... which kinda ruins my plan to finish it by good. The ONLY thing I don't like about being evil is how the town looks. The ground is all red and cracked all the trees die, and if you zoom into a person they'll just be screaming and running away. But still, the game still looks great for its age.

There has been an update for GTA: San Andreas Multi player released. The notable improvements are up to 200 people on a server and your bullets actually hit now!
For people who haven't played it, it's basically San Andreas without any NPC's walking around or missions. What you do is entirely up to you. I think the best things to do in the game are:
Enemy Territory: Quake Wars has also received a small update. Most important thing is bullet rego! Before this game had the same problem as gta, most of your bullets would register when you hit someone. But now every bullet does, it is a goooooooooooood thing! (don't wanna crap on more about this)
Ok, so this blog. Google encourage you to put their advertisement "adsense" on your site. Which I have in the form of a tower, unfortunately it isn't active yet. I have to wait until Google activate it. I've been reading up and saw that some ad's pay upto $10 per click o.0 so If this blog can make a few dollars that'd be very good. So once the ad's are active click away and help me out ;)
There's also a small counter on the bottom of the page so I can see how many people have viewed, I'm not sure if anyone else can view the stats. It'll tell me basically anything, which countries have the most views. What browser you were using, how long you looked for. It's pretty interesting.

- Stunts!
- Killing people/ Forming gangs.

Me buys more things?!
I just purchased Vigil: Blood Bitterness via Steam. It's $7.95US and its a point and click game. The publisher is Meridian 4. The first thing you'll notice about the game is the graphics. They are simple. Stylized and very dark. Have a look at the images below to get an idea.
Unfortunately I can't comment what the game is like until another 6 or so more days. Running low on downloads
EDIT: This just came in the mail ^_^ Yes the $5 note was also in the package. I have no idea why, more for meeee!

Stuff me buys

Great game, never played through it. So far I'm up to the fourth colossus. I think this would be one of those games that would benefit from 1080 upscaling on the PS3. Hopefully will have a TV to test this on one day.
It's a great looking game, especially on the PS2. Shame that some of the scenes are so complex that the frame rate drops noticeably.
I also love the case, its riddled with in game art and it comes with 4 concept art cards which are very cool.
I've also bought Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil off eBay for $22. I'm just waiting for that to get here, it should be good. For people who haven't played it, it's essentially a platform/adventure game. Think along the lines of a side scrolling game, but with 3d elements.
Non game related, I bought Jaws. Greatest. Movie. Ever.
It also has a 50 minute making of which is pretty good.\
Oh yeah, almost forgot I also bought this band's album. $15 with free delivery ^_^ check em out! http://www.myspace.com/frankiewantsout

The beginning
Well... I'm not sure if I'll be keeping up with this one but I'll try.
This blog will mostly be to host anything I see that interests me, maybe some thoughts on games. Who knows, odds are no one will ever see this. ^_^
What to start about first..... hrm...
Well, E3 is coming up in 2 or so weeks. Which should be interesting (hopefully) Judging by past E3 showings Sony has won them all in terms of content. I'm hoping a little big planet demo would spring up by surprise on the PSN. I dunno what the 360 and Wii are going to show.
I've heard that Microsoft are trying to re-arrange their sku's dropping the "premium" console and replacing that with the elite, and now including a 20gig hard drive with ALL 360's. This would help ALOT for games... especially GTA4. The load times on 360's without hard drives... well you better go make a sandwhich, or conquer Rome, which ever happens first.
The Wii, uh I dunno... all I know is they better start getting some good 3rd party titles going. Or else people are going to start getting sick of the same thing. The lack of 3rd party titles is what killed the Game Cube by the way. So hopefully Nintendo has learned, and aren't going to ride this success for too long.
Uhm, I've been playing alot of Quake Wars: Enemy Territory, needless to say I will be getting this game. It's alot like Battlefield 2, but it takes all the things battlefield does wrong and tosses them out. In Quake Wars, you really feel like your actually helping the team. If your an Engineer as an example you can build anti artillery. So you can stop those pesky strikes from ruining whatever. Standard soldiers have explosives which are needed to break through perimeters. Spec-ops have hacking for...hacking, and the medics don't have too much of a role. However they are going to add in specific Medic goals later on. At the moment medics can revive people, provide health packs and remove/place spawn hosts. Spawn hosts are a Strogg Medic ability. When a enemy dies you can turn their body into a spawn host, which other Strogg can spawn at. Simple.
A few people have been going on about a new game called "Hyperbol" its on Steam. I have a beta key. However I wont get to play it for about a week because my internet usage is running slim. *sigh*
Speaking of beta's.... I've applied for the Warhammer Online beta (twice) that game looks amazing. It of course is the typical WoW formula but it takes the crap out and does it right.
eg:
In WoW you walk upto this human, on the way you have to kill a heap of bears to get to him. When you speak to him he says
"Hey I want you to kill me 10 bears."
to which you would naturally reply.
"What do you think I was doing, theres still bear blood on my sword!"
He stares back at you.
"huh, oh I didn't notice. About those bears..."
So you go out and kill yourself 10 bears, you then go back to the guy and ask for your reward but he says...
"I thought I told you to kill bears"
You reply, with a bit of frustration.
"I DID! I EVEN HAVE THEIR HEADS ON MY BELT!"
He replies
"No.. you haven't been killing any bears, you don't have any bear paws."
By this point you've had enough of this fucker and you'd rather kill him than kill 50 bears looking for only 10 bear paws. Because let's face it not every bear has a paw on it...
In warhammer Online if you've killed 10 bears and don't even have the quest to do it yet. That NPC will still give you your reward. You do not need to speak to him first! The game actually remembers what you've killed.

Wow.. I actually typed a heap of stuff without noticing.... crap. Maybe I will use this more!
